Cymbidium floribundum

Cymbidium floribundum, belonging to the Cymbidium genus in the Orchidaceae family, is a perennial herbaceous plant under national second-class protection. It is known for its medicinal value, particularly in tonifying yin, clearing the lungs, resolving phlegm, and relieving cough. The plant features colorful and diverse flowers, making it highly ornamental and an ideal choice for potted plants. It is distributed in Shennongjia at elevations of 400 to 1,600 meters, growing on trees in forests or on rocks with light exposure near stream valleys.
