Saruma henryi

Saruma henryi is a national Class II key protected wild plant species of China, belonging to the Saruma genus in the Aristolochiaceae family. This perennial erect herb has medicinal roots used to treat stomach cold pain and joint pain, while fresh leaves are applied externally for sores. In Shennongjia, it is found under forests on slopes or along ditches at elevations of 500--2,000 meters.
