Populus lasiocarpa

Populus lasiocarpa is a deciduous tree species up to more than 20m tall. It flowers from April to May and fruits from May to June. It is a good timber tree with fast growth and loose wood texture. It has the largest leaves comparing to other Populus species, so it is easy to identify. It is distributed in the shrub forest of Dajiuhu area and on the edge of the Sinkhole.
