Geum sunhangii

Geum sunhangii is 40-70cm tall, with yellow flowers, flowering in May and June. It is a new species discovered during the background resource survey, and so far only found in Shennongjia. As one of the three areas with the richest biodiversity in China, the unique natural environment of Shennongjia shelters a large number of rare plants and animals, and also nurtures many endemic Chinese species including Geum sunhangii.
