Bhutanitis thaidina, a species under the genus Bhutanitis in the family Papilionidae, is a National Class II Protected wildlife species in China. It is a medium-sized swallowtail butterfly with a wingspan of 86–92 mm in adults. The hindwings feature three tail-like projections, hence the name "Three-tailed Brown Swallowtail." Bhutanitis thaidina is a high-altitude species inhabiting mountainous regions above 1,000 meters, with larvae dependent on Aristolochiaceae climbing plants as their host.
