Garrulax lunulatus

Barred Laughingthrush (Garrulax lunulatus), a species of the genus Garrulax in the family Timaliidae, is a National Class II Protected wildlife species and an endemic bird species to China. It primarily inhabits coniferous forests, mixed coniferous-broadleaf forests, subtropical evergreen broadleaf forests, and bamboo groves. Its diet consists of insects, plant fruits, and seeds. In Shennongjia, it is distributed in areas such as the Golden Monkey Ridge, Taiziya, and Dajiuhu.
